Help us fix it in one reply

Put these in your email and we can usually answer without asking you anything back:

  • Your phone and Android version, for example "Redmi Note 12, Android 14".
  • The BillZap version. Open Me → Settings and look under About.
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot or screen recording of the problem, if you can.

Never send us your app PIN, bank passwords or OTPs. We will never ask for them.

Quick fixes

I forgot my app PIN

On the lock screen, tap Forgot PIN?. BillZap asks for your latest backup file (it ends in .billzap) and then lets you set a new PIN. Look for the file in your Downloads folder, your email attachments, or WhatsApp media if you sent it to yourself.

The UPI QR is missing from my bills

Add your UPI ID in Me → Settings → Business Profile. The QR then appears on every unpaid rupee bill with the exact amount filled in. Bills already marked paid don't show it.

I changed phones. How do I move my data?

On the old phone open Backup & Export in Settings and save a backup. Send that file to the new phone, install BillZap, and restore it from the same screen. Your bills, customers and products come across.

My bill says "Bill" instead of "Tax Invoice"

That is deliberate. BillZap prints Tax Invoice only when GST is charged. A registered shop billing without tax gets Bill of Supply, and a shop with no GSTIN gets Bill, as the GST rules require. Add your GSTIN and GST rates to your products to issue tax invoices.

How do I change the language?

Open Me → Settings → Language and pick yours. The app switches straight away. Your bills' PDFs stay in English so your customers and accountant can read them.
